Tax & Senior Tax Accountants
A well-established public accounting firm in the San Francisco area, in business for nearly four decades, is seeking Tax Accountants and Senior Tax Accountants for its domestic and international clients. The firm, with a growing staff of fewer than 40 people, offers a clear career advancement pathway to Partner. These positions are direct hire.
Compensation: $75K - $135K + full benefits, 401(k) match, and bonuses.

  Positions Overview:

  • Client Interaction: Interact professionally and courteously with clients to gather information, accurately input historical data, review complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, corporations, and partnerships, and ensure the accuracy of all work prepared.
    
  • Direct Client Work: Work directly with executive teams and company chiefs for independent, middle-market businesses both domestic and international.
    
  • Community Presence: Maintain a strong presence in the San Francisco business community by attending various networking functions and educational seminars.
    
  • Professional Development: Gain extensive experience in public accounting with a firm committed to the long-term development of its employees.
    
    Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • Education: Must have a BS/BA or higher in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Audit, or Economics.
      
    • Technical Skills: Must be computer literate and able to use relevant systems.
      
    • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
      
    • Certifications: Ideal candidates are those looking to gain a CPA or MBT or who already hold these certifications.
      
    • Experience: Depending on the position (Tax or Senior Tax Accountant), a few years of working experience in tax is preferred. However, we are willing to train candidates with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax.
