Job SummaryThe Finance Business Partner manages the financial and operational performance of the departmental/laboratory budgets, including identifying areas for improvement and offering suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity. Candidates should be highly motivated, have strong communication skills, thrive in an evolving business environment, and work productively and efficiently in a remote office location.Responsibilities

• Partner with functional leaders and stakeholders through support of strategic decisions by means of sound business analysis (financial modeling, opportunity & risk assessments, scenario analysis, etc.).
• Coordinate and lead various business reviews associated with financial results, budget, forecast, and key performance indicators.
• Monitor the financial position of each business unit. Identify risks and opportunities to current financial projections and take/recommend corrective actions where needed.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements through review and analysis during the month-end closing process, including preparation and analysis of monthly financial results.
• Lead, prepare, and execute the financial planning process including annual operating plan/budget and recurring forecast cycles.
• Implement where needed efficient systems, workflows, and tools to enhance financial processes.
• Other duties, as needed.Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required; master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in a corporate/operational finance.
  • Mastery of financial principles, requirements, and systems.
