Job Summary
This role within Enterprise Information and Analytics (EIA) will
partner closely with the Office of Diversity and Outreach to build
analytical tools and data processes that promote diversity, equity,
and inclusion across UCSF, following best analytical principles and
practices.
Under the general direction of the Director of People Analytics,
Enterprise Information, and Analytics, this position will be a
resource to the Vice Chancellor of Diversity and Outreach senior
leadership to employ data analyses and solutions that advance the
mission of the Vice Chancellor's units, such as assessing the
organization's overall climate, and the Anti-Racism initiative.
This position ensures that work being done is aligned with broadly
defined objectives, by using data and business intelligence tools
to analyze and advance the office's initiatives. This includes, but
is not limited to:
The successful candidate will be inquisitive and consultative and
able to translate business problems into data, and data into
stories. The candidate will have experience automating data
pipelines and building visualization dashboards.The final salary
and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on
UC policy.Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a
number of factors including your work experience and internal
equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions
that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary
range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining
agreement.The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $160,000

Enterprise Information and Analytics advances UCSF's institutional
priorities by enhancing access to and the use of data and
analytics, including appropriate data platforms and data
governance, in a manner that meets the unique needs across the
education, research, and care mission areas.

The Vice Chancellor's Office of Diversity and Outreach (VCDO)
includes oversight for the Center for Science Education and
Outreach, Disability, LGBT, Multicultural and CARE Resource
Centers, the Office for the Prevention of Harassment and
Discrimination, Sexual Violence Prevention and Response, and the
direct administrative office of the Vice Chancellor of Diversity
and Outreach.
