Job Description:
Administrative Assistant
Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a current
Administrative Assistant job in Palo Alto, CA. This is a Short-Term
temporary opportunity. As an Administrative Assistant you will
perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as
drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and
maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to

Responsibilities for this Administrative Assistant job include:
• Works on HR projects, answers and screens telephone calls and
performs other office duties as assigned
• Computer literacy in multiple programs such as PowerPoint, Word,
Excel, etc.
• Answer office telephone and give information to callers, take
messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals
• Must be well organized, accurate with very good attention to
detail, work independently and communicate effectively
• Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and use discretion
in confidential situations
• Demonstrated ability to independently seek out and obtain
information
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize
multiple and diverse tasks
• Anticipated project work involves working with the SHC applicant
tracking system, reviewing data and, with the appropriate training,
the ability to effectively read and interpret data and extract the
specific data that is most relevant to the project paramaters.
• This position involves significant time working on the
computer
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree
preferred
• Two to five years of HR office experience interfacing with
clients/customers in a high volume, complex environment.
• Excellent interpersonal Customer service and communication skills
required
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and proficient in
Microsoft Office
Pay for this position is $21.50/hr plus overtime as needed. This is
a 6 months contract opportunity.
