DescriptionPosition Overview: We are seeking an experienced Head of
Sales Engineering to lead our global sales engineering team,
reporting to the Global Head of Product for i2c. This role will
directly support strategic and large client sales efforts in
addition to leading a highly talented, solution-oriented Sales
Engineering team that supports new client sales and existing client
cross-sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical
background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record
of leading effective sales engineering within the fintech or
payments industry.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the global sales engineering team, providing
guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Engage with strategic clients and prospects to deliver
customized payment processing solutions, demonstrations of i2c's
capabilities, and ongoing support as clients expand their
relationship with i2c.
- Collaborate with Global Product Management colleagues, the
Sales organization, and our Client Engagement Team to align sales
engineering demos, knowledge, and support with the needs of these
partner organizations.
- Develop and execute technical sales strategies to achieve
revenue targets and business growth.
- Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements
and provide tailored solutions.
- Oversee the creation of technical proposals, presentations, and
demonstrations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
within the team.We are looking for:
- Education: Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science or a
related field.
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in sales
engineering.SkillsQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a
related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in sales engineering, with at least 5
years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical background in fintech, payments, banking, or
related industries, ideally with a deep understanding of delivering
payment processing in a B2B SaaS model.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving
business growth.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate technical
capabilities into business value.
- Willingness to travel up to 40-50%, mostly domestically.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
