meet all requirements.We are seeking a highly skilled and
experienced Analytics Engineer to join the Data Team. In this role,
you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and
functional leads to build and maintain robust data pipelines and
analytics infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring that
data is accurate, accessible, and actionable, enabling our team to
make informed product decisions. You will also play a key role in
providing product feedback, helping us refine and improve our
offerings based on firsthand experience.What You'll Do
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable
and efficient data pipelines using Airbyte.
- Analytics Engineering: Develop and optimize data models,
transformations, and visualizations using dbt, BigQuery, Metabase,
and Metaplane.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing data to provide insights on product
performance, customer behavior, financial metrics, etc.
- Reporting: Creating dashboards and reports that provide
stakeholders with the necessary data to make informed
decisions.
- Product Feedback: Actively use our own product, providing
valuable feedback to the product team to help improve the Airbyte
platform.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and function
leads to understand data needs, deliver insights, and support
product development initiatives.What You'll Need
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data engineering,
analytics engineering, or data analysis, with a strong focus on
building and maintaining data pipelines and analytics
infrastructure.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in dbt, BigQuery, Metabase,
Metaplane, or similar tools. Experience with ELT processes and data
integration tools is essential.
- Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling principles
and experience in designing and optimizing data models for
analytics.
- Data Analysis: Expertise in analyzing large datasets and
identifying trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot data-related issues
and optimize data processes.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring data accuracy and integrity in
all outputs.
- SQL Mastery: Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write
complex queries and optimize performance in large datasets.
- Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms,
particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability
to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders.Compensation$140,000- $150,000 + a generous equity
