Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Multiplayer Engineer to
develop and maintain real-time multiplayer game server systems.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain high volume C++ game server systems for
reliable player state synchronization
Monitor and diagnose issues in the live environment, implementing
timely fixes
Improve backend architecture and development workflow for optimal
player experience
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in backend development for MMO or
high-volume, low-latency web services
Proficiency in C++ and experience with UDP, bit-level
serialization, and delta compression
Familiarity with external backend services integration and network
communication management
Proficient in Linux and debugging in network environments
Experience with creating unit tests, stress tests, and integration
tests
