industry-leading, global organizations. -About this role: -Cisco
Isovalent is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our
teams working on Cilium. This critical role involves spearheading
the integration of Cisco Isovalent's solutions with various
platforms and technologies, enabling seamless deployment and
operation for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a
strong technical background in software engineering, coupled with
exceptional leadership skills, strong experience both deploying
software on cloud platforms, directly and via their marketplaces as
well as building products for the Kubernetes ecosystem. -What
you'll do: -Grow and mentor software engineers and technical
leaders -Deliver continuous feedback and performance review of
engineers, with input from technical leader and senior leadership
-Structure and track progress on projects and ensure accountability
for them -Preserve the engineering culture as we scale out the team
-Being a role model of company culture and values -Manage and
coordinate US and EMEA teams, ensuring alignment during East Coast
business hours (EST/EDT) -Minimum Qualifications: -7+ years of
experience in Software Engineering -Experience in management or
leadership roles -Experience in cloud native technologies, Linux
and networking -Experienced developing using Go or similar
languages -Preferred Qualifications: -Experience with Kubernetes
-Experience of interacting and working with customers -Experience
managing independent, strong, and diverse teams -Strong

target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring

during the hiring process.U.S. employees have access to quality

Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and

time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are

Purchase Program.Employees on sales plans earn performance-based
incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between
quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay,
Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each
1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive
target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of
incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%;
and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are
at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive
compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as
strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target.
Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance
for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
