• Develop integrated circuits at the heart of modern power systems.
• Design test chips, characterize devices, establish device layout methodology for analog designs, and establish device selection and usage guidelines for IC applications.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, and Reliability engineering teams to resolve device-related problems and work with the teams to establish preventive measures.
• Help drive product tapeouts through device library generation, design and layout review, mask data review, design rule check review, and coordinating with foundries.
• Establish and maintain ESD, Latch-up, and IO layout design best practices for IC technology platforms and applications. Investigate ESD/Latch-up failures and implement fixes on products.
• Work closely with foundries to mitigate technology risks and resolve silicon process and product issues.What you will bring along:
  • MS or Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
  • A minimum of seven years experience in semiconductor device and BCD technology development and fabrication process.
  • Good understanding of LDMOS and/or Vertical TrenchFET power devices.
  • Experience with measurement techniques such as DC, CV and pulsed IV characterization.
  • Strong analytical skills and electrical test laboratory experience are required.
  • Ability to work independently, manage timelines, drive and monitor projects, and work with others in a team.
  • Good communication (verbal and written) skills are highly desired.
  • Knowledge of TCAD and parasitic extraction simulation tools is a plus.
