We are looking for candidates who want to shape and drive innovation at Bosch.Job DescriptionThe Bosch Research and Technology Center in Sunnyvale, CA is looking for a highly motivated engineer to support Bosch research and development, includingPrimary responsibilities:

• Perform regular monitoring, maintenance, and calibration of test equipment
• Work with equipment manufacturer to troubleshoot and improve equipment
• Design and construct devices for novel testing
• Set-up and carry out tests including scripting within the equipment environment
• Collaborate with experimentalists and modelers in a cutting-edge research and development environmentQualificationsBasic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry
  • 1+ years of experience working with electrical test equipment (i.e. fuel cell test stand, electrolysis test stand, battery cycler, potentiostat, etc.), including equipment calibration and troubleshootingPreferred Qualifications:
    • MS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
    • Knowledge of electrochemistry, especially fuel cells and/or electrolyzers, and general understanding of thermodynamics and transport phenomena are desirable
    • Prior experience with text-based programming such asMATLAB, Python, Visual Basic and/or proprietary software
    • Familiarity with programmable logic controller (PLC) concepts
    • Basic knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
    • Experience fabricating and installing process piping
