Celestial AI's Photonic Fabric is the next-generation interconnect technology offering a 10X increase in performance and energy efficiency over competitive technologies.The Photonic Fabric is available to our customers in multiple technology offerings, including optical chiplets, optical interposers, and Optical Multi-chip Interconnect Bridges (OMIB). This enables our customers to seamlessly integrate high bandwidth, low power, low latency optical interfaces into their AI accelerators and GPUs. The technology is fully compatible with both protocol and physical layers, including standard 2.5D packaging flows. This ease of integration enables XPUs to have optical interconnects for compute-to-compute and compute-to-memory fabrics that deliver tens of Tbps bandwidth with nano-second latencies.This innovation empowers hyperscalers to improve the efficiency and economics of AI processing by optimizing the XPUs needed for training and inference and significantly lowering the TCO2 impact. These tier-1 partnerships consist of custom silicon/ASIC design, system integrators, HBM memory, assembly, and packaging suppliers.Job DescriptionCelestial AI is seeking a Silicon Validation Engineer to lead the bring-up and testing of mixed signal ASICs.The ideal candidate will thrive on solving complex problems in lab settings while collaborating closely with subject matter experts on SerDes, firmware, digital and analog design, and photonics. Strong communication skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving are crucial for success in this role.This position offers flexibility for candidates with varying levels of experience. • Bring up, debug, and characterize internal IPs such as High-Speed SerDes, PLL/DLLs, and ADCs.
• Provide direct technical support to customers, collaborating to review designs and address inquiries.
• Develop and document configurations tailored to specific system requirements.
• Design and implement validation test plans.
• Automate testing processes, generate test reports, and write detailed application notes.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong background in lab equipment selection and use.
  • Proficient in Python programming.
  • At least two years of industry experience.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.As an early startup experiencing explosive growth, we offer an extremely attractive total compensation package, inclusive of competitive base salary and a generous grant of our valuable early-stage equity. The target base salary for this role is approximately $150,000.00 - $180,000.00.
