Job Description:

PARIKH Consultants, Inc. is currently seeking an Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering, with a MS in geotechnical engineering preferred.Primary Responsibilities:

• Conducting geotechnical field investigations, including field drilling, site reconnaissance, marking exploration locations, obtaining required permits, and coordinating with the vendors.
• Reviewing boring logs and preparing data in gINT.
• Performing engineering analyses based on available data.
• Preparing technical memoranda and reports under the supervision of the Project Engineer or Project Manager.Requirements:
• Proficient in communication with clients and team members.
• Attention to detail.
• Self-starter and initiator.
• Able to work independently and in a team setting.
• Flexibility in traveling to project sites and other offices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• A valid California driver's license.
• Experience with field drilling.General geotechnical engineering analysis experience, such as foundation design, liquefaction analysis, slope stability, settlement evaluation, retaining wall design, or pavement design, is a plus.Salary will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
