Job Title: Account Manager ( Semiconductor Industry)
Location: Irvine, CA or San Jose, CA
Salary: $150-200k
. They are in the office 5 days a week.

Will consider a relocation-package- 2 openings on in OC and San
Jose onsite.
Walk me through the day to day regarding accounts engagement,
management-what does the existing book like? How much are they
expected to grow business development and technical support? Is
this spread out by territory? How big is the current sales
team?
30% travel can you further explain?-all over the country give
accounts to the person 1-2 accounts to manage to start. This role
is focused on expanding there existing client base. US total 13
employees-Irvine. CA FAE and Account Manager. Maya is the head of
sales operation. Tech support in Irvine. 10,000k SMIC-5th largest
in China.
Min 5 years- in semi and foundry sales a plus in semiconductor
industry no foundry sales.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Take direct responsibilities for customer accounts engagement,
management, business development and technical support in Americas
region, and corporate strategies alignment to achieve revenue, NTO
and other corporate goals.
Responsibilities and Major Job Duties
1. Proactively serve customer on an ongoing basis, promote SMIC new
technologies and collaborate with customers to achieve revenue,
margin, NTO and other corporate business goals.
2. Create a strong business relationship with customers to develop
strategic plans for business growth.
3. Execute and exceed assigned sales revenue, and fully responsible
for managing and overseeing activities of assigned customers'
accounts, (logistics / engineering / business / marketing etc.)
4. Execute customer POs in time to meet company revenue goal with
the co-ordination internal and external.
5. Negotiate contracts with customers (manufacturing, technology
development, etc.)
6. Negotiate with customers in pricing, business issuesengineering,
manufacturing operational issues to ensure the margin and revenue
in growth.
7. Understand customers' product and market to develop strategic
plan for engagement.
8. Identify new business opportunities, and conduct new customer
evaluation, development and engagements.
9. Understand account forecast to ensure revenue target can be
achieved and ensure enough capacity to fulfill customer's
demand.
10. Convey customers and market feedback internally to enhance
SMIC's competitiveness.
11. Nurture newly engaged customers to ensure First-Time-Right
Silicon and customer retention.
12. Other duties / projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or
related fields. Master degree in the related fields preferred.
2. Technical knowledge and general understanding of semiconductor
industry is required. Prior engineering experience is a big
plus.
3. 12 years or more experience in semiconductor account management,
sales, and/or marketing and/or CE. Experience in semiconductor /
foundry sales is major plusCustomer Service oriented, teamwork
spirit, proactive, pursue excellence, innovation & continuous
improvement, planning and execution, analytical thinking & problem
solving.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills for communication, presentation,
negotiation, networking, and relationship building. Be able to
build trust with customer base across all working level (from top
executive to working level).
6. Be able to learn complex internal system and procedures.
7. Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
8. Goal oriented and planning driven.
9. Detail-oriented, self-starter with a proactive attitude.
Language Skills
Fully comprehend English, and fluent in read, write and speak.
Travel Requirement
This position requires up to 50% local or domestic travel.
