Associate Program Manager play a pivotal role in spearheading
release management, sprint planning execution, and retrospectives,
positioning themselves at the forefront of these crucial processes.

striving for refinement and advancement. As our Associate Program
Manager , you will contribute in End-to-End planning & execution of
Large scale complex programs spanning across multiple scrum/product
teams - with complete execution & monitoring control on all stages
of development and collaborating with the software development
teams and partners. You will take complete ownership of all
deliveries, from concept to production release and work through
different constraints & risks to take it to a closure. You will own
provisioning of all necessary resources required for the program
including, resources, environment, infra & partner engagement. This
role is particularly for someone who is proficient in data
analytics and business intelligence. Although, someone who's
interested in the field can also apply. Key Responsibilities
- Release Management: Associate Program Manager are responsible
for managing the overall planning, execution, and delivery & good
communication of technical releases. They define release scope,
goals, and deliverables, create release plans, and establish
timelines and milestones. They coordinate with various teams and
stakeholders, ensuring that the release progresses according to
plan.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration at Program/Release level:
Program Managers act as a bridge between different teams, fostering
effective collaboration and communication. They work closely with
product managers, engineering teams, quality assurance, design, and
other stakeholders to align priorities, resolve dependencies, and
ensure smooth execution of the project. They facilitate meetings,
provide status updates, and manage expectations across teams.
- Risk Management: Program Managers are responsible for
identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
They proactively assess potential risks, develop contingency plans,
and work with teams to implement risk mitigation strategies. They
monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks or issues, and take
corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Resource Management: Program Managers manage project resources,
including budget, staffing, and equipment. They collaborate with
relevant stakeholders to allocate resources effectively and
optimize their utilization. They track resource allocation, monitor
project costs, and ensure that the project stays within
budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Program Managers interact with various
stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and external
partners. They provide regular updates on project status, manage
expectations, and address any concerns or issues raised by
stakeholders. They serve as a point of contact for project-related
inquiries and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Associate Program Manager continuously
evaluate and improve project management processes and
methodologies. They identify areas for optimization, streamline
workflows, and implement best practices. They learn from previous
projects to refine processes and drive efficiency in future
projects. TPMs share the sprint summary report on the next business
day after the sprint ends to all the stakeholders.
- Agile/Scrum Rituals: Ability to conduct Sprint Planning,
Retrospectives and ensure actionables from each of these rituals +
being part of daily standups/Scrum of Scrums is expected.
- Exposure to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe): and conducting of
planning events/Program Increment (PI) cycles will be an added
bonus. Requirements
- BE/B. Tech. in Computer Science, or an MCA from a reputed
university.
- 4+ years of overall experience and 2+ years of experience as a
Program Manager/equivalent roles and should have managed 2 to 3 big
ticket Program/Project/Initiatives.
- Proven skills & knowledge on Tools like Jira, Confluence, MS
Project, Google Sheets.
- Exposure in managing initiatives for both Front -End & Back-End
Technologies.
- Should have a penchant for metrics to track sprints, releases,
dev productivity, capacity utilization, quality, etc.
- Excellent problem solver and effective communicator.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly
articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders.
- Communicating the team's progress and roadblocks to
stakeholders and upper management.
- Excellent organizer: Set priorities, develop a work schedule,
monitor progress towards goals.
- Should be equally well versed in running initiatives in sprints
and kanban modes.
- Ability to operate under uncertainty is a huge plus. Ability to
be tough, resilient and showcase visibility and accountability are
expected in this role. A Program Manager is known to be on the
floor and stamp their presence/authority as the go-to person for
