OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager to
lead a team of data analysts to drive data-driven decision-making
across the organization. You will be responsible for managing data
projects, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering actionable
insights to stakeholders.Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts to ensure high
performance and professional growth
- Establish the data & process foundation for product and general
analytics at Harvey
- Partner with Product, Exec Team, GTM, & Finance and oversee the
design, development, and implementation of data models, reports,
and dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their
business needs and formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that
includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables, and
presentations
- Partner with engineering to define data schemas, data models,
and make technology decisions
- Analyze and synthesize competitive dynamics and customer
insights to highlight opportunities to improve our
businessQualifications
- 5-9+ years of experience in an analytics focused role -
analytics engineer, data engineer or analyst / consultant with a
strong engineering background, with at least 2-3+ years of
experience managing data analytics teams
- Expert at answering product questions & crafting narratives
with data
- Expert with SQL, dbt, Python, and other common analytics
tools
- Eager to move fast & drive impact - you'd rather build an
imperfect data model quickly that is used by many people than a
perfect data model that collects dust
- Expertise at both defining the right metrics as well as
diagnosing and understanding data inconsistencies
- Strong communication with the ability to build meaningful
stakeholder relationships
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous cross-functional projects across
Product, GTM, and Finance
- Big picture thinking while still delivering on the details
- Experience in a B2B / commercial environment
- This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use an in-person
