character in action.The Director of Learning and Development will
spearhead the strategy, design, and implementation of comprehensive
learning programs that foster employee growth, enhance skills, and
drive organizational performance. This leader will collaborate
closely with leaders across the company to ensure that learning
initiatives align with our culture, strategy, and employee
experience.This position is a people manager role reporting to the
Vice President of Learning and Organization
Effectiveness.Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a learning and development strategy that
aligns with Docusign's mission to deliver on Intelligent Agreement
Management.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and future
learning requirements across the organization.
- Integrate leadership programs against a common framework to
build capabilities needed to deliver on our strategic priorities
while allowing for flexibility and autonomy to localize and meet
business-specific and/or unique country-based needs.
- Supervise the creation of diverse learning programs, including
onboarding, leadership development, career development, and
skills-based learning that apply innovative learning methodologies,
such as e-learning, blended learning, and experiential
learning.
- Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning
programs and initiatives, and continuously monitor and report on
the impact of learning and development efforts on employee
performance and engagement.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to align learning initiatives
with broader People Team and organizational strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on learning, career
development, and leadership development.
- Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring efficient
allocation of resources to maximize impact.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in
learning and development to ensure the organization remains
competitive in talent management.Job DesignationHybrid: Employee
divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an
office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week;
may vary by team but will be weekly in-office
expectation.)Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation

as permitted by local law.What you bringBasic
- MA/MSC degree or equivalent in relevant people or
organizational development.
- 15+ years of experience working in learning and
development.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional critical
initiatives.Preferred
- Extensive experience guiding teams at all levels through
behavioral change.
- Experience in building, delivering, and facilitating workshops
and training sessions.
- Track record of partnering with organizational stakeholders to
drive clarity and alignment.
- Ability to scope and solve problems, balancing immediate and
longer-term needs.
- Role model collaboration, decision making, and
communication.Wage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a
number of factors including geographic location and may vary
depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on
applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the
following locations:California: $195,500.00 - $315,775.00 base
salary.Washington and New York (including NYC metro area):
$186,200.00 - $276,125.00 base salary.This role is also eligible
