Product Management, Commerce Media, will lead PubMatic's product
efforts for our portfolio of Commerce and Retail Media products. As
head of product for Commerce, this person will drive product
strategy and ensure strong execution across the product portfolio.
Commerce Media is a fast-growing platform in PubMatic's
omni-channel portfolio and thus, this role provides an experienced
product leader with the opportunity to have an enormous impact and
accelerate business growth.The ideal candidate will have a track
record of demonstrated success in building and taking to market
Commerce or Retail Media products and a full grasp of the Commerce
and Retail Media advertising space and its evolution over the last
5 years. They will understand programmatic advertising from both
the buy and sell side, including what motivates buyers and sellers
of Commerce advertising with respect to technology decision making.
They will have a full spectrum of product management and product
leadership skills. This includes defining vision, setting product
strategy, managing a team for high performance, evangelizing their
products, assessing competition, and collaborating with
engineering, operations, and marketing to drive the successful
delivery and adoption of their platform.Responsibilities:As a
senior member of the product management team, you will be
responsible for product vision, product strategy, and execution of
your product portfolio.
- Product Strategy: Develop and drive the overall product
strategy and vision for PubMatic's Commerce Media division,
aligning with the company's objectives and market trends.
- Product Roadmap: Define and prioritize the product roadmap
based on customer feedback, market analysis, and business goals,
ensuring a competitive edge and addressing market needs.
- Product Development: Lead the product development process,
working closely with engineering and design teams to deliver
high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions in a fast paced
environment. Expect to roll up your sleeves.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration and
communication with cross-functional teams, including engineering,
design, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure seamless
execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing product
management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration,
and continuous improvement.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research,
competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify
opportunities, inform product decisions, and drive continuous
improvement.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with sales and customer
success teams to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and
develop customer-centric product offerings.
- Product Launch: Drive successful product launches, coordinating
with marketing and sales teams to ensure effective go-to-market
strategies and enablement.
- Performance Tracking: Define and track key product metrics,
analyze performance data, and make data-driven decisions to
optimize product performance and user experience.
- Industry Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging
technologies, and best practices in commerce media, contributing to
thought leadership and ensuring our products remain at the
forefront of the market. Engage with relevant industry
bodies.Requirements:
- 10+ years in product management with extensive experience in
programmatic advertising and deep knowledge of Commerce and Retail
media
- Proven track record of successfully driving product strategy
and leading the development of innovative, market-leading
products.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, e-commerce, and
data-driven marketing technologies.
- Deep knowledge of product management methodologies, processes,
and tools.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the
ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a
data-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders
at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight
deadlines.
- Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences,
documentation, and driving customer satisfaction.
- Ability to travel to support client meetings and events.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree
preferredCompensation and Benefits:Base Compensation Range:
$230,000 - $270,000. In accordance with applicable law, the above
salary range provided is PubMatic's reasonable estimate of the base
salary for this role. The actual amount may vary, based on
non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge,
skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a
bonus, restricted stock units and a competitive benefits
