note that this role is in the San Francisco Bay Area.We're excited
to have a packed and lively office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Twice
a week those of us in the Bay Area come to our office located in
the Financial District for All Hands, intense collaboration,
brainstorming activities, and fun events. There are small rooms for
1-1 mentoring sessions or heads down work, and larger rooms for
team activities. We continue to support a flexible work environment
for all of life's surprises and needs with generous time off and
flexible daily work schedules.About the roleAs an Engineering
Manager at , your people management skills will shine, both through
mentoring and coaching the members of your team, and also through
designing people processes for the wider engineering organization.
You will drive a team of talented engineers to success,
collaborating closely with your Product Manager to influence
product trajectory. At you won't receive narrowly-defined
requirements and milestones from the product team, like taking a
ticket. Instead, you'll own prioritizing engineering projects to
achieve larger business objectives. When your team gets stuck,
you'll use your experience and problem-solving skills to get them
unstuck. You'll also hop into hiring, helping to continue to grow
our organization with highly-skilled and kind people.Key
