The Adoption Connection program offers first-in-class facilitation, counseling, legal advice, and support for pregnant women and adoptive families. We help families navigate all the details of the open adoption process from start to finish. - POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Adoption Connection, the Surrogacy Program Manager oversees the JFCS surrogacy program and ensures the successful coordination and management of the surrogacy process. The role requires a deep understanding of the surrogacy process, California-specific laws, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with intended parents, surrogates, healthcare providers, legal teams, and other stakeholders. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000 (depending on experience) Employment Type: full-time, exempt position with benefits Employer 403(b) retirement match plus additional employer contribution (subject to eligibility) Cafeteria plan with medical, dental, vision, FSA, Employer-paid life, and disability insurance 16 holidays (10 federal and up to 6 Jewish holidays), annually 3 weeks of vacation and 2 weeks of sick leave, annually ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In coordination with the Director of the Adoption Connection, develop, and implement the surrogacy program from the ground up, including policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with California surrogacy laws and regulations Manage the comprehensive roadmap for the surrogacy program, including timelines and milestones Establish an intake process for surrogates and intended parents, including oversight of the screening process of potential surrogates/gestational carriers, matching criteria, and legal requirements Collaborate effectively with medical professionals, legal experts and stakeholders to ensure all processes are aligned with the highest standards of care and legal compliance Oversee the day-to-day operations of the surrogacy program, including surrogate recruitment, intake, matching, and case management Monitor and report program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices Regularly meet with Marketing to develop and manage marketing strategies including social media in promoting the surrogacy program and attract potential surrogates and intended parents JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Required bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, healthcare administration); master's degree preferred
  • Required minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the surrogacy or assisted reproductive technology industry
  • Experience in starting or managing a new surrogacy program and a proven track record of building and managing successful programs is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of California and Federal surrogacy laws and reproductive legal frameworks
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a teamTo be considered for this position, you must meet the requirements and competencies listed above.
