Job Title: Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hrs, 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: ACLS certification Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients in a fast-paced, high-risk labor and delivery setting. - Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery. - Administer medications and manage labor-inducing protocols as needed. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Educate and support expectant mothers and their families during and after delivery. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care. - Participate in emergency procedures as necessary. - Demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor---s degree in nursing or related field. - Over five years of recent labor and delivery experience, including high-risk cases, within the last two years.
