A 350 bed San Francisco Bay Area Non Profit Medical Center is
seeking a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse ManagerThe Pediatric
Nurse Manager will oversee their new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Located in picturesque San Francisco Bay, this frequently
accredited hospital hosts a 22 bed individual room PICU on a
Pediatrics Floor.The PICU Nurse Manager will report to the Director
of Pediatric Services and will be supported by a team of
Supervisors, Charge Nurses and experienced RN's. The Nurse will
help oversee be responsible for the departments clinical operations
and will also be supported by Advanced Practice Nurses and Nurse
Educators.The Pediatric Complex Care Unit cares for Children with
rare and life threatening injuries and illnesses. The PICU Nurse
Manager will work with the nursing staff to further improve
clinical care and serves as the clinical expert in complex
cases.The Nurse Manager of Pediatrics ICU will be responsible for
the 24-hour supervision of the department, and overall day-to-day
operations of the department. The PICU manager will provide
guidance on nursing practice, hiring and retention, budgeting and
quality improvement.The Medical Center is located in the San
