Job Description:

We're looking for a Sous Chef to join our Sunnyvale team. This role is responsible for the culinary quality, service and experience of the operation. As the Sous Chef, you will develop and direct team members to deliver delicious, nutritious food, exceptional service, as well as accomplish daily goals and initiatives. You will also oversee the daily administrative and operational tasks, including financial management and analysis, sanitation and safety.You will partner with our key stakeholders to promote standards, Food expectations, operational excellence and enhance user experience. Your responsibilities will include designing, managing and owning the overall experience, preparing well-balanced meals, setting an expectation of hospitality, and training and developing team members.The ideal candidate will have a degree in Culinary Arts, a minimum of 2 years of kitchen supervisory experience, and a passion for great food and hospitality.   • Responsibilities:
  • Design, manage and own the overall experience
  • Prepare well-balanced meals to fuel users through the day
  • Set an expectation of hospitality that is friendly and engaging
  • Train and develop team members
  • Assist Executive Chef in ensuring that all products and ingredients are purchased following sector and Food purchasing standards and sustainability commitments
  • Promote a culture of Food and Workplace Safety
    • Requirements:
    • Degree in Culinary Arts preferred or equivalent professional experience
    • Minimum of 2 years kitchen supervisory experience
    • Strong passion for great food and hospitality
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    • Working knowledge of Google Suite
    • General hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices
    • Ability to follow all Health & Safety standards
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
