Job SummaryAssist the Team Leader in daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. Develop and lead Team Members, ensuring a positive company image by providing excellent customer service and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain store layout and product merchandising.
• Work with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assist in analyzing sales, reports, and labor.
• Demonstrate advanced product knowledge and stay up-to-date with new products.
• Maintain good vendor relationships and ensure proper paperwork submission.
• Work with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns and issues.
• Act as point person and department head in the Team Leader's absence.
• Set and achieve high standards of retail execution.
• Foster a positive environment of teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
• Monitor customer flows and needs, directing Team Members accordingly, and responding promptly to customer needs and questions.
• Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members to sustain a high-performance team.
• Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations.Requirements

    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
    • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
    • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
    • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
    • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
