Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Prepared Foods Cook to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food products in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all prepared items are labeled, dated, covered, monitored for quality and freshness, and rotated.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, follow directions, and maintain a clean and sanitary working environment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor food levels and replenish in a timely manner to maximize sales potential.Requirements:
  • Culinary Skills: Ability to follow recipes, demonstrate good understanding of food production and fundamental cooking techniques, and possess good basic math skills.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, ability to deliver information in a clear and respectful manner to fellow team members, customers, and vendors.
