Staff Simulation Software Engineer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Staff Simulation Software Engineer to design, analyze, and improve battery modeling and simulation software.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with battery scientists and controls engineers to enhance simulation and signal processing algorithms
Develop robust signal processing, simulation, and optimization software in Python, Rust, and C/C++
Guide the organization on system architecture and maintainable software practices

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in professional Python software development
Experience in architecting simulation workflows and efficient simulation engines
BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related engineering discipline
Experience with Kalman Filtering or other statistical methods
Familiarity with battery or energy systems applications
