By joining their award-winning design team, you can make an immediate and significant impact in helping the company shape the future of retail and craft world-class experiences that enable our merchants, suppliers, sellers, and 2.1 million in-store associates to deliver great value to our customers on a daily basis.This opportunity is in Bentonville, Arkansas where we are expanding our awesome design community in our new, state-of-the-art campus.As a Principal UX Designer, you'll set the vision for the best customer and associate experiences and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners. You will use your knowledge of the Design Thinking process to collaborate with partner teams, facilitate conversations, create concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes to leverage the collective creativity. You'll employ your great strengths in storytelling to present your vision and product design rationale in a compelling, convincing manner to cross-functional partners and the leadership team. While working with partners to determine a shared plan forward that balances business and technology considerations, you'll craft experiences that are intuitive to use and accessible for all.You'll sweep us off our feet if you have---

  • Actively soliciting feedback from peers and cross-functional stakeholders through the product design lifecycle.
  • Engaging the design research team at the right points during the design process to ensure the right insights inform the work.
  • Rapid prototyping and experimenting in a fast-paced environment.

  • Staying up to date with the latest trends, in and out of retail.Preferred qualifications:
    • Degree in HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, or similar and at least 5-7 years of experience in product design.
    • Have a fantastic portfolio of elegant & simplified design solutions.
